Around the World in 12 Dishes is a private initiative by Imogen Wells and Elespacio, who gave birth to the original concept. The project, however, wouldn't have been possible without the careful help of Lumenstudio and Marta Guasch-Ferré.

Imogen WellsCulinary Advocate
Imogen is a culinary advocate who utilises the power of taste to deliver important messages about our global food system.
On this project she worked with the small food-producers, from different corners of the globe, to bring you their colourful stories and give you the opportunity to share in the flavours of their worlds.
Imogen also developed the recipes, cooking each dish to be photographed and to pass the strict taste-test procedure.
ElespacioDigital Production Company
Elespacio is an award-winning digital production company specialised in online advertising for global brands, with shops in Barcelona and Berlin.
Elespacio's role has been to provide art direction, create illustrations, design, develop and produce the site. Find more about them in the link below.
Dr. Marta Guasch-FerréDietician and PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology
Dr. Guasch-Ferré is a registered dietician and PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health. Her research focuses on evaluating the role of Mediterranean diet and some of its key components, mainly nuts and olive oil, on type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular risk factors, cardiovascular disease and mortality.
Her role has been to highlight the health benefits of the organic products used in the recipes.
LumenstudioFood Photography Studio
Lumen is a photography studio specialized in gastronomy. They are dedicated to capturing the essence of culinary creation into the pictures they produce. This is why they work before, during and after every shot to provide high-quality, precise and cared-for imagery.
Lumen's role has been to create photos for the recipes shown. They have been involved in the composition of the set ups, prior to the shot, as well as in the post-production of the images.
